EU funding opportunities for entrepreneurs, SMEs, brands and institutions. Knowledge exchange, peer learning and funding execution to facilitate,
participate and leverage the EU innovation policy.
Gaining funding successfully to drive future innovation in the Cultural and Creative Industry.
Europe’s identity and success in the last decades has been built on economic growth combining advanced technologies and craftsmanship as well as heritage and innovation – all driven by creativity and thus driven by the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI).
To maintain and expand this status as pioneers and innovators a cross-sectorial networking approach is needed to connect groundbreaking players to bring more and more successful innovations to the market – supported by easier access to suitable innovation funding for CCI in Europe.
Our purpose is to support and increase funding applications of different CCI sectors and in particular their SMEs, of scientific and cultural institutions by focusing on the inclusion of all development potentials from different cultures, nations and regions in Europe.
The European Innovation Platform is an interdisciplinary and cross-sectorial online platform as a central point of reference, orientation and execution of funding applications for innovation in the CCI.
The specific goal of EIP is to activate and leverage the diversity of innovators in the CCI across disciplines, sectors, markets and regions and to act as an intermediary to connect these innovators with innovation funding programs of the EU.
EIP provides a new dimension of networking, match making, knowledge exchange as well as application planning and execution to facilitate more innovators to participate in the EU innovation funding and to scale the number of cross-sectorial and interdisciplinary innovations in the European CCI.
The European Innovation Platform is initiated and carried by the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA).
ECCIA is composed of six European cultural and creative industries organisations – Altagamma (Italy), Circulo Fortuny (Spain), Comité Colbert (France), Gustaf III Kommitté (Sweden), Meisterkreis (Germany) and Walpole (UK) – which represent over 600 brands and cultural institutions. Based on art, culture and creativity, its work is underpinned by continuous innovation, a relentless focus on quality, highly skilled employment and strong exports abroad. ECCIA members strive for the highest quality in all they do, from products and services all the way to the experience offered to consumers.
Get actively in the funding process and develop your individual funding opportunity.
EIP wants to raise awareness and transparency about the EU funding opportunities. For this purpose we scan and filter interesting and suitable funding options and provide an easy orientation for interested stakeholders by our funding monitor. The funding monitor shows EU funding calls currently relevant to CCI in a clear and concise manner.
To deepen the understanding of successful funding application we are also offering knowledge exchange, training and counseling of applicants and peer-to-peer learning to facilitate more innovators to participate in the EU innovation funding programs.
EIP connects experts, applicants, political institutions and builds capacity of stakeholders to collaborate and to participate in innovation policies and programs. This results in the coordination of competencies, supporters and consortia for proposal preparation and submission.
In this way, the EIP offers a new dimension of networking and knowledge sharing so that the entire European CCI can draw on the diversity of innovation ideas from different cultures, nations and regions of Europe.
Our goal is to submit funding applications for innovations as efficiently as possible and to bring them through the application process successfully. For this reason, we conduct a potential check to review the potential for success of specific application ideas and to determine the fit between these application ideas and funding options.
In the course of the potential check the application topics are compared with the funding options and the potentials of the applicants. The result of this potential check forms the basis for the systematic application design. The potential check is carried out as a direct dialog between the applicant and our experts.
Based on a positive potential check, our experts develop and supervise the planning and execution of your individually suitable funding bid. In the course of the bid development promising applications are planned, prepared, drafted and implemented together with you.
The funding application starts with training and counseling of applicants to be ready for application process and to increase capacity and knowledge for creating promising bids. This also includes ideation, capacity planning, cost estimation, partner finding and coordination as well as support in bid writing. Once this application planning is complete, the EIP assists applicants in submitting and executing their application.
After the application has been submitted, the EIP accompanies the applicant in a supportive manner until possible approval. The accompaniment and support includes also the evaluation of the application process, operative learnings and continuous participation in the EIP network.
